Prerequisite subjects:
Students should have completed the majority of the course work required for a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology. Below are some of the prerequisite subjects that must have been covered by a student’s course work prior to field camp (these can be in progress at the time of application).
Mineralogy/Petrology
Stratigraphy/Sedimentation
Structural Geology
A course such as Introductory Field Geology would provide useful additional background.
