Itinerary

GETTING THERE
Participants are responsible for their own airfare and travel arrangements to and from Alghero, Sardinia.

Some faculty will travel from Boise to London. From London they will take a direct flight to Alghero via RyanAir. RyanAir is inexpensive and serves the Alghero airport. This route is more economical than flying to Rome or Milan and then connecting to Sardinia via another airline or ferry, however, it also more complicated and necessitates an overnight stay in London. RyanAir may now offer flights from Rome to Alghero.

The Alghero airport is 20 minutes from our first camp location in Fertilia; camp staff will pick up participants at the Alghero airport. Participants may meet up with the main group in Boise, London, or Alghero.

Camp formally begins on Saturday, May 19. Make sure you arrive no later than the evening of May 19. Housing, food, and transportation will be provided for you from May 19 through June 22.

In the past participants have joined up with groups of camp students in Boise, London, or Rome, but we do not travel as a group from Boise to Sardinia. If you wish to join other camp students during their travel to Sardinia, we can facilitate the connection. Contact Claude.
