The Geophysics Club is a student chapter of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) comprised of undergraduates and graduate students dedicated to encouraging student interest in the field of geophysics. Our goal as a club includes, but is not limited to:

  • Provide students with the opportunity to become familiar with the various applications of geophysics
  • Introduce students to a wide variety of geophysical careers and current research
  • Create opportunities for social interaction between students, faculty, staff, and their families
  • Enhance geosciences education and awareness within the community
