Research Interests
Desert
Geomorphology, Late Quaternary climate change, palaeolakes, dune activity,
dendrochronology and dendrogeomorphology, ground-penetrating radar (GPR) use
in geomorphic investigations, viticultural geography.
Current projects:
Dendrogeomorphic
study of climate change and dune activity in the Coral Pink Sand Dunes,
Kane County, Utah (see summary)
Climate change,
fire history, and hazards along the Boise Front.
Wine-grape growing
environments in the Western Snake River Plain (see Gillerman, et al., 2006,
below).
